Faith-based Work
It is common to feel that faith and mental health must exist separately; however, integrating one’s faith can play a meaningful and healing role in our mental health journey.
Therapy
As both a practicing Catholic and a psychologist, I am committed to thoughtfully integrating faith into the therapeutic process when appropriate and desired by my clients. Faith can serve as a source of healing throughout various aspects of one’s journey—whether addressing past trauma or embracing one’s inherent worth as a person created in the image of God.
The integration of faith in therapy is intended to support ongoing healing and to foster a deeper understanding of one’s unique calling and purpose. Elements of Catholic tradition—such as the Sacrament of Reconciliation, receiving the Eucharist, and participating in adoration—can offer additional avenues for spiritual and emotional support during the healing process.
Consultations & Workshops
I provide consultations and workshops to various faith communities throughout the Diocese. Consultations may involve individualized guidance on specific concerns, while workshops offer educational presentations from a faith-based perspective. I welcome the opportunity to discuss your community’s unique needs and explore how my services can offer support.
